Facebook Accused Of Running Ads For Knockoff NFL Gear

Law360, New York (October 22, 2012, 9:20 PM EDT) -- An NFL merchandise retailer hit Facebook Inc. with a proposed class action in New Mexico federal court Monday for allegedly running ads for counterfeit NFL products including jerseys and hats.

Inkies Sports Inc., which operates as Krystal's NFL Shoppe, claims that Facebook and online advertising company adSage Corp. has enabled the proliferation of websites that allegedly sell cheap knockoffs of NFL merchandise from China.
