Boeing Buys PE-Backed Defense Contractor To Boost Global Biz

Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 1:14 PM EDT) -- Middle-market private equity firm Solis Capital Partners has sold logistics software provider Miro Holdings Inc. to Boeing Co.'s defense division, it said Thursday afternoon, cutting ties with a company whose clients include governments of the U.K., the U.S. and several nations in the Middle East.

Neither the firm nor Boeing disclosed the purchase price for Miro, which pioneered software to manage supply chain, maintenance, repair and performance-based logistics tasks. The deal marks Solis' exit from Miro eight years after it bought the California-based company from U.K....
