5th Circ. Nixes La. Gov't Class In Centennial Wireless Suit

Law360, New York (October 29, 2012, 2:26 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Friday decertified a class of nearly 300 Louisiana government entities that sued AT&T Inc. unit Centennial Beauregard Cellular LLC over its allegedly deceptive billing practices, ruling that the group’s certification did not follow federal standards.
