DOD Begins Criminal Probe Of Contractor's USA Today 'Smears'

Law360, New York (October 29, 2012, 5:47 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Defense has begun a criminal investigation into Leonie Industries Inc., the military's top propaganda contractor in Afghanistan, over reports that a company co-founder attempted to attack and discredit USA Today journalists that criticized the company's work, Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., said Monday.
