Homebuyers Press For Cert. In Title Insurance Fee Case

Law360, Los Angeles (November 6, 2012, 9:54 PM EST) -- A putative class of California homebuyers and sellers suing First American Title Insurance Co. told a judge Tuesday that the case was ideal for certification because it presented common questions as to whether the company violated state consumer laws by overcharging on fees.
