Sandy May Shift Insurers' Hurricane Deductible Strategy

Law360, New York (November 7, 2012, 9:55 PM EST) -- With one state after another proclaiming that hurricane deductibles don't apply to Hurricane Sandy claims, experts say insurers will be reluctant to fight back — but they will be re-examining policy language, mulling rate increases and working with regulators to clarify when these higher deductibles should kick in.
