Wal-Mart Bests Calif. Activists' Bid To Stop Stockton Store

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 6:24 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday upheld a lower court ruling allowing Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to proceed with a planned supercenter in Stockton, Calif., finding that arguments against the store by local environmental activists were time-barred.
