SAIC Nets Partial Win In Protest Over $111M Defense Contract

Law360, New York (November 16, 2012, 6:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office on Friday partially sustained a protest by Science Applications International Corp. of a $111 million military intelligence contract that was given to a competitor, finding that the analysis of the winning bid was faulty.

The GAO held that the decision by the Defense Intelligence Agency to award a task order related to the so-called Orion project to Computer Sciences Corp. was off, as the agency improperly evaluated CSC's technical part of its bid.
