Olympic Skating Champ Baiul Files $1M Suit Against Agent

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 7:57 PM EST) -- Olympic figure skating champion Oksana Baiul on Monday sued the William Morris Endeavor talent agency for breaching a contract with Baiul and allegedly failing to pay at least $1 million owed to her.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles County court, Ukrainian-born Baiul said her agents at William Morris have concealed and failed to pay her royalties, residuals and other money owed to her since she signed an agreement with the agency during May 1994, a few months after winning a gold medal in ladies' singles...
