Motorola Joins EMG's List Of Patent Infringement Targets

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 3:10 PM EST) -- Motorola Mobility LLC on Tuesday became the latest company accused of infringing intellectual property held by EMG Technology, which sued the electronics maker in Texas federal court, accusing Motorola of co-opting a patent purportedly incorporated into dozens of its smartphones and tablet computers.

EMG says that Motorola's electronic devices, including versions of its Droid phones, infringe a patent used in touchscreen navigation, months after having accused Google Inc. of infringing the same patent.
