BofA Issued False Mortgage Payment Warnings, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 4:08 PM EST) -- A homeowner launched a putative class action Wednesday against Bank of America NA in Pennsylvania federal court, claiming the bank falsely told mortgage holders they've missed payments in order to get them to refinance, in violation of both federal and state debt collection laws.
