Dallas Suburb OKs Funding For 320-Acre Mixed-Use Project

Law360, Dallas (November 27, 2012, 4:03 PM EST) -- A north Dallas suburb on Monday approved an agreement with Forest City Enterprises Inc. to pay millions in incentives to support a new 320-acre mixed-use development scheduled to begin construction in late 2013.

Frisco’s city council signed off on a performance agreement for the project, called Frisco North, that requires it to give quarterly grants to the developer for 25 years — paid for from sales tax collected on the property — commit to a $5 million loan for the development and pay up to $9.4...
