Genting Wins Landmark Fight For Planned $3.8B Miami Resort

Law360, New York (December 11, 2012, 3:45 PM EST) -- In a heated meeting, a Miami historic preservation board declined Monday to grant landmark status to the Miami Herald Building, in a vote that paves the way for a unit of Malaysian casino giant Genting Group to demolish the building and build a $3.8 billion resort.
