Joint Juice Maker Removes $155M False Marketing Suit

Law360, Chicago (December 14, 2012, 3:08 PM EST) -- Premier Nutrition Corp. on Friday removed to New Jersey federal court a putative class action accusing it of falsely marketing its Joint Juice dietary supplement, a case Premier said seeks more than $155 million in compensatory damages.

Premier, formerly known as Joint Juice Inc., said in its notice of removal that the dollar amount at issue is one of several factors that warrant moving the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act suit plaintiff and attorney Harold M. Hoffman filed Nov. 1 from state to federal court....
