FCA Suit Over L-3's Chopper Maintenance Gets Green Light

Law360, New York (December 17, 2012, 4:15 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Thursday refused to throw out a False Claims Act suit against an L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. unit in which a whistleblower claims the company cheated the government on a contract to service military helicopters, finding the whistleblower's claims of fraudulent billing and testing are plausible.
