Judge Axes Olympians' Publicity Rights Suit Against Samsung

Law360, Los Angeles (December 14, 2012, 9:59 PM EST) -- A California judge on Thursday tossed a lawsuit brought by swimming legend Mark Spitz and other famous U.S. Olympic athletes accusing Samsung Corp. of misappropriating their likenesses for profit, saying a Facebook application with their images was not a form of advertising designed to drive Samsung sales.
