Capital One Says Contracts Sink Balance Transfer Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 8, 2013, 3:12 PM EST) -- Capital One Bank (USA) NA urged a California federal judge Friday to toss a proposed class action alleging it tricked customers into transferring higher-interest loan balances to Capital One credit cards without telling them they would have to pay interest on those balances, saying it never violated its contracts with card owners.
