Law360, New York (January 11, 2013, 12:29 PM EST) -- The Texas Supreme Court recently issued an important decision addressing a groundwater rights question that had gone unanswered for more than a century. In Edwards Aquifer Authority v. Day,[1] the court held that Texas property owners have an actual ownership interest in the groundwater beneath their property.
