Judge Dismisses Credit Card Late Fee Suit

Law360, New York (November 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has agreed with Bank of America Corp. and five other credit card issuers, dismissing a lawsuit alleging they conspired to fix late fees charged to credit card holders.

In a decision Friday, Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said the plaintiffs failed to state claims. However, she gave the plaintiffs 20 days to submit an amended complaint.
