9th Circ. Reinstates Privacy Suit Over ADT Call Recordings

Law360, Chicago (January 17, 2013, 5:40 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Thursday revived a putative class action accusing ADT Security Services Inc. of violating California's invasion of privacy law with its phone call recording practice, allowing the plaintiff to attempt to file an amended complaint alleging that he reasonably expected that his call was confidential.
