General Dynamics Deserves Navy Contract, GAO Finds

Law360, New York (February 1, 2013, 7:43 PM EST) -- The federal government on Friday affirmed a decision to award a General Dynamics Corp. unit a $2.1 million contract with the U.S., overruling an objection from a smaller competitor that said it could do the work.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office said that Navy procurement agents did not make a mistake when they awarded General Dynamics Information Technology Inc. a contract to make avionics equipment for the California-based Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division.
