Sony, 'Justified' Producers Sued Over Stuntwoman's Injuries

Law360, New York (February 4, 2013, 2:06 PM EST) -- Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. and other producers of the FX show “Justified” were hit Friday in California state court with a lawsuit alleging they are liable for injuries sustained by a stuntwoman who worked on the show.

Stuntwoman Lisa Hoyle says she was not notified of a safety meeting held prior to the filming of a stunt in which she was injured. The stunt, which was meant to be included in an episode of “Justified,” involved standing near a parked car while a moving vehicle crashed...
