Tougher LA Ports Oversight May Propel Pollution Crackdowns

Law360, San Diego (February 5, 2013, 10:21 PM EST) -- A California local air district voted Friday to step up its oversight of emissions coming from the Los Angeles and Long Beach harbors, which make up the biggest marine port complex in the U.S., a move experts said could encourage other air agencies to increase pressure on major ports to cut pollution.
