Charter Puts Up $1.7B For Cablevision's Optimum West

Law360, New York (February 7, 2013, 9:21 PM EST) -- Charter Communications Inc. is picking up a Mountain States-dedicated cable management company from Cablevision Systems Corp. for $1.65 billion, the companies said Thursday, in a deal that will return Cablevision to its East Coast-only cable service roots.
