Dr. Dre Says Yamaha Stole His Headphone Design

Law360, Los Angeles (February 8, 2013, 3:39 PM EST) -- Dr. Dre’s audio equipment production company sued Yamaha Corp. of America for trade dress and patent infringement in California federal court Wednesday, saying three of Yamaha’s Pro series headphones are knock-offs of Beats Electronics LLC’s Studio, Solo and Wireless models.
