Lead Plaintiffs Named In Countrywide Suit

Law360 (December 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two New York pension funds have been named as lead plaintiffs in a consolidated securities class action filed against Countrywide Financial Corp.

Judge Mariana R. Pfaelzer, of the United States District Court for the Central District of California appointed New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, head of New York's Common Retirement Fund, and New York City Pension Funds as co-lead plaintiffs last week.
