Senate Panel Advances Hagel Nomination Despite Opposition

Law360, New York (February 12, 2013, 7:54 PM EST) -- The Senate Armed Services Committee voted Tuesday to approve the nomination of former Sen. Chuck Hagel as secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense, sending his nomination to the full Senate after a heated debate.
