High Court Won't Hear AT&T Workers' ERISA Case

Law360 (December 3, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has passed up an appeal by former employees of telecommunications provider AT&T Corp., a decision that leaves standing a Third Circuit ruling that monetary damages are not recoverable under ERISA.

The high court on Monday rejected the employees' petition to review the appeals court's ruling that their pursuit of lost pension benefits was not relief available under the Act.
