Suit Over BMW Transmissions Drives Into N.J. Court

Law360 (December 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Four BMW owners have slammed the German car maker with a proposed class action, alleging that it sold cars that had a defect causing them to be inoperable when in reverse gear.

The four plaintiffs come from Indiana, California and Massachusetts. The suit is filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
