CBS Defeats Musicians' Bid To Block File-Sharing Software

Law360, New York (February 20, 2013, 12:30 PM EST) -- A California federal judge ruled Tuesday that a group of musical artists could not block a CBS Corp. unit from distributing file-sharing software online, saying the musicians had not shown the company intended the software to be used to infringe copyrights.
