Law360, New York (February 22, 2013, 9:57 PM EST) -- A New York judge's recent decision to side with New York City in its suit against Smart Apartments LLC has focused liability on companies that market apartments as hotel rooms and taken a load off landlords unaware their tenants are illegally subletting, experts say, predicting an increase in similar litigation.
