Judge Halves Apple's $1B Award Against Samsung

Law360, New York (March 1, 2013, 6:39 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Friday threw out nearly half of the $1.05 billion a jury awarded to Apple Inc. in its patent suit against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., ordering a new damages trial related to several Samsung smartphones and tablets.
