Lawyers Mull Jeopardy Claim After Broker's Mistrial

Law360, New York (December 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lawyers for a former Credit Suisse Group investment banker facing trial on insider trading charges may call for the case to be thrown out after a Manhattan judge declared a mistrial on Tuesday.

Attorney Michael Bachner, who is defending former broker Hafiz Muhammad Zubair Naseem on multiple charges stemming from the alleged multimillion-dollar scam, said the double jeopardy clause could bar a new trial.
