LG Must Mediate Suits Seeking To Block HQ Construction

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 5:06 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey judge has ordered mediation in a lawsuit over the planned expansion of LG Electronics USA's corporate headquarters, continuing a battle over a project that opponents say would ruin one of the area’s best scenic views.

Superior Court Judge Alexander H. Carver issued an order Feb. 21 requiring mediation for plaintiffs who filed two complaints, later consolidated, against LG and Englewood Cliffs, N.J.’s now-defunct zoning adjustment board.
