NYU Shakes Tenants' Suit Over Campus Expansion

Law360, Los Angeles (March 18, 2013, 9:54 PM EDT) -- A New York judge on Thursday denied a bid by a group of tenants to stop New York University from developing its Greenwich Village campus, finding that the construction project wasn’t far enough along for the court to render a decision.

Justice Ellen M. Coin denied the tenants’ request for a preliminary injunction and granted NYU’s motion to dismiss their suit, saying it was too soon for the court to address the project. The tenants must instead take their concerns to the state Division of Housing...
