Bank of America Can't Shake Fla. Force-Placed Insurance Suit

Law360, New York (March 19, 2013, 5:57 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Monday refused to nix a proposed class action claiming Bank of America compels homeowners to carry unnecessary, exorbitant hazard insurance on their properties, saying the plaintiff has shown enough evidence that the force-placed insurance might have breached her mortgage agreement.
