Appaloosa Appeal Over Scuttled Dana Deal Tossed

Law360, New York (December 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bankrupt auto parts maker Dana Corp. and hedge fund Appaloosa Partners have formally mended their fences, resolving a dispute over a deal between the company and its workers that threatened to derail Dana's Chapter 11 proceedings.

In an order issued on Thursday, Judge Lewis Kaplan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed with prejudice an appeal filed earlier this year by Appaloosa.
