Port Authority Eyes Atlantic City Airport Takeover

Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 8:18 PM EDT) -- The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey on Wednesday took a major step toward taking over Atlantic City International Airport in New Jersey, a move that supporters say could ease congestion at other airports and boost the state's gaming industry.

Port Authority commissioners approved a measure empowering Executive Director Pat Foye to enter into an agreement with the South Jersey Transportation Authority on the operation and maintenance of the two-runway airport in Atlantic County.
