Chubb Unit Must Cover Defense In Phone Call Recording Suit

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 4:25 PM EDT) -- A Georgia federal judge ruled Wednesday that a Chubb Group unit must defend DS Waters of America Inc. against a California class action alleging it recorded customer calls without consent, finding that the underlying action fell under DS Waters' errors and omissions liability policy.

DS Waters produces and distributes bottled water under brands including Sparkletts, Crystal Springs and Sierra Springs.
