Lifetime Prevails Over Killer, Can Air Movie About His Trial

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 3:30 PM EDT) -- Lifetime Entertainment Services Inc. on Thursday won an appeal that will allow the network to broadcast a made-for-TV movie this weekend about the trial of convicted murderer Christopher Porco, plans that were threatened after a New York judge agreed with Porco that the use of his name in the movie may violate a state civil rights law.
