TCPA Damages Are Insurable, Ill. High Court Hears

Law360, New York (March 21, 2013, 6:12 PM EDT) -- At oral arguments held Tuesday, a plaintiffs' attorney urged the Illinois Supreme Court to chuck a ruling that damages under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act should come from the pockets of defendants, not insurers, arguing that coverage for these suits should be determined on a case-by-case basis.
