RadioShack Harvested Web Visitors' Data, Suit Claims

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 1:24 PM EDT) -- RadioShack Corp. secretly compiled personal Internet browsing information from users who visit the company's website by permanently installing tracking files on their computers, according to a putative class action removed to Missouri federal court Thursday.

Rather than using standard browser cookie tracking methods, RadioShack and its website operator GSI Commerce Solutions Inc. hacked into media software Adobe Systems Inc.
