Deutsche, BofA Escape Pa. Foreclosure Fee Suit

Law360, New York (March 28, 2013, 10:37 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Thursday tossed a putative class action accusing Bank of America NA and Deutsche Bank AG subsidiaries of charging improper attorneys' fees in foreclosure proceedings, finding the plaintiff had been “disingenuous” and had not personally paid those bills. 

U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab dismissed all counts of the suit alleging illegal attorneys' fees were charged by McCabe, Weisberg & Conway PC during collection proceedings against Pennsylvania homeowners on loans issued by Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. NA and serviced by Bank...
