Verizon Escapes Foreign Workers' Tax Withholding Suit

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 1:55 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Friday threw out a proposed class action brought by foreign employees against Verizon Communications Inc. and others for allegedly improperly withholding U.S. taxes from their pension funds, finding the plaintiffs failed to establish they had suffered irreparable harm.
