For Industry, High Court's Whirlpool Ruling Fails To Satisfy

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 9:23 PM EDT) -- Product manufacturers won a small victory Monday when the U.S. Supreme Court wiped out a class certification ruling in a case against Whirlpool Corp., but they were disappointed the court declined to tackle the issue that most concerns them: the approval of classes whose members claim varying levels of injury.
