NFL Released From Ravens Logo Copyright Dispute

Law360, New York (April 4, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- A Maryland federal judge on Thursday pared the National Football League Properties Inc. from a copyright suit brought by the designer of the Baltimore Ravens' old “Flying B” logo, finding that the NFL’s merchandising arm didn’t license the logo for use in video games.
