Broadcasters Strike Out In Aereo Ruling

Law360, New York (April 5, 2013, 1:00 PM EDT) -- With baseball season upon us, the broadcast industry struck out yet again when the Second Circuit held on April 1 that Aereo Inc., which provides a service that streams local broadcast TV programming to subscribers, does not violate any copyrights of the broadcasters because the service does not constitute a transmission to the public.
