LulzSec Member Cops To Hacking Sony, News Corp.

Law360, New York (April 9, 2013, 3:20 PM EDT) -- An alleged member of hacker group LulzSec pled guilty Monday in a U.K. court to charges that he helped attack the websites of Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Britain’s National Health Service and News Corp., according to news reports.

Ryan Ackroyd, 26, admitted to planning a string of website attacks, including those against 20th Century Fox Film Corp. and Arizona state police, as part of an eight-month campaign in 2011, according to The Guardian.
