KKR Acquires Colonie Center Mall In Albany

Law360, New York (April 10, 2013, 3:26 PM EDT) -- Private equity firm KKR & Co. LLP has partnered with a consortium of real estate investors and developers to buy the Albany, N.Y., area's second-largest mall, Colonie Center, for an undisclosed price, KKR announced Tuesday.

The buyout giant teamed with a venture known as Colonie Pacific, which includes Pacific Retail Capital Partners, Collarmele Partners and Peter Fair of Continuum Partners, to acquire the 1.3 million-square-foot regional mall.
