Stallone Settles With Builder He Accused Of Shoddy Work

Law360, New York (April 9, 2013, 10:57 PM EDT) -- Actor Sylvester Stallone on Tuesday settled with a contractor he had accused of defrauding him of some $1.4 million by performing substandard construction work on his kitchen, after the builder separately accused Stallone of threatening violence.

An attorney for Stallone confirmed Tuesday that the deal, which came a day before trial was to start, resolves Stallone's April 2012 case against contractor Mohamed Hadid over allegedly shoddy renovation work at Stallone's Los Angeles County home. It also resolves the claims in the temporary restraining order Hadid filed earlier this month accusing the action star of stalking and threatening him, the attorney said....
